What is an affirmation?
Affirmations are positive statements to enhance our lives. They are used to assist us in reaching our highest potential. Not only for ourselves, but for those around us and planet Earth. If you are happier in your life, you spread that joy around. Thus infecting everyone on the planet. Though a good infection. ; )
Affirmations are like any other discipline; they must be practiced in order to work. Though please have fun with them or they will become a drudgery. Remember that God has a sense of fun. If not we would not have one since we are made in His image.
However, they are not effective if the rest of your day is spent saying or thinking negative words. So be most cautious what you are saying or thinking. It affects your entire life. For example, if you go around saying, 'I never have enough money', 'I am ugly', 'I am fat', 'I'm stupid', etc. then that becomes your truth. So always be cautious of even your thoughts. They create your life.
In the Bible it says, "Ask, in faith, and ye shall receive". That faith is not just faith in God, though that is also important, but it is faith in yourself that you can believe your life to be better. By using affirmations regularly, your senses are developing faith in believing your life will be enhanced and you CAN reach your highest potential.
Technique for using affirmations:
Many people tell me when they are using affirmations they have a difficult time believing them and getting results. In the back of their mind every time they say the affirmation they hear a voice rejecting the affirmation. I am going to use the affirmation "I love myself" as an example. When they say "I love myself" then they hear a voice saying 'no you don't', 'bologna', 'bulls---', 'who are you trying to kid' and so on with the negative chatter contradicting the positive affirmation.
I am going to teach you the best way that I have found to get affirmations to work quicker using the same affirmation and my name. When you find an affirmation you like always start with it using third person. So instead of saying "I love myself" say, "Cassandra loves herself". By putting the affirmation in third person you are taking some of the personalization out of it; resulting in less negative chatter. That part of your mind that gives out the negative chatter does not feel as tempted to respond because it has a sense that someone is talking about you, not you talking about you.
After a period of time, when you feel comfortable using the affirmation in third person change it to second person by saying, "Cassandra, you love yourself". Again, the negative chatter is less apt to respond because it thinks someone is talking to you.
Lastly, when you feel comfortable with second person then switch to first person, "I love myself". By this time the negative chatter is far more silent because it has heard it from what it thinks is outside you.

Now, I am going to share some affirmations that I use on a regular basis. I am writing them all in first person. If you would like to see additional affirmations here then please email me. The affirmations with a single asterisk (*) in front of them are the ones that either I use daily or recommend to clients and/or patients. The ones with 2 asterisks (**) are ones that were channeled by my angels back in the mid 1980s and some newer ones. The ones with a hyphen (-) in front of them were beautiful suggestions by other spiritual people.
Personal:
** The truth keeps me poised and confident and the truth is this: GOD is in charge of my life and all is well.
** I am safe.
** I always remember who I am....God's child
* I have released my ENTIRE past to God. It is complete and I am free.
* I am at peace with the Universe and myself.
* I am guided throughout this day in making right choices. Divine Intelligence continuously guides me in the realization of my goals.
* I am open & receptive to ALL my good, now. (see bottom of page about this one)
* My life is navigated by God and improves every second of every day.
* I trust the process of life. All I need or want is always taken care of. I am safe.
* My true self, Radiant, Powerful, Successful, and Intelligent, is now shining through so that ALL the world, myself included, can see me shine!
* The past is over and I release it easily.
* I now dissolve ALL negative and/or limited beliefs. They have NO power over me.
* I am free from my hurts, pains, guilts, fears and any misconceptions of the past.
* I deeply and completely accept myself just as I am.
* I like me!
* With the help of God and the angels I now release any and all seeming blocks that hold me back from my own good.
* I now choose thoughts that make me feel good.
* I am surrounded with loving supportive people in my life.
* I release all judgement from my life, easily.
* I am free to be me.
* I know it is safe for me to take care of myself.
* My body is my ideal weight.
* My mind's thoughts control my body's health; so I think healthy thoughts.
- I love my body and my body loves me.
- I am vitally alive.
- I am filled with the life force.
- I have boundless energy.
- I am motivated.
- | am enthusiastic.
- I am joyful.
- I am a divine being, radiating love to all that I meet.
- I have released my ENTIRE past to God. It is complete and I am free.
- I now dissolve ALL negative and limited beliefs. They have NO power over me.
Abundance:
** I give thanks for a quick substantial increase in my financial income, now.
** I have a large, steady, dependable, permanent financial income, now.
** I trust in thee, Oh God, and thy righteous law. I know my own comes to me and I rest in confidence and peace.
** Money quickly flows to me whether I work, sleep or play. I always have far more than ample coming my way.
** God strengthens my heart because I'm of good courage to trust HIM to provide.
** All that I desire I easily achieve it because I believe I can and I deserve it!! Thank you wonderful, God! And so it is.
* Everything I ever dreamed of instantly takes shape & manifests immediately!
* With God's blessings, I receive a minimum daily income of (here put a dollar amount) or more.
* My work is deeply fulfilling.
* My work allows me to express my creativity, freely.
* I earn a good income doing things I love.
* I am always happy at work.
* My career is filled with love, joy, laughter, accomplishments and abundance.
* I always have more than enough money to meet my needs.
- I give thanks, now, for all that I have; the seen and the unseen that are already mine.
- The walls of lack and delay now crumble away, and I walk into my promised land under grace.
- All that the universe has is mine, and I and the universe are one.
- I can do anything I believe that I can do. I've got it and every day I get more of it. I have talent, skills, and ability.
- I am on top of the world and I am going for it. I have a clear picture in my mind of what I want. I can see it in front of me, I know what I want and I know how to get it.
- I know that it's all up to me and I know I can do it.
- Money, money, money come to me.
A prayer for financial peace:
Dearest God,
I know that You are the source of all my good and that You provide for me in all ways. Please help me release the fears that block me from receiving Your gifts. Please help me feel the emotions of peace, gratitude, and financial security and to know that I am Your child upon whom You bestow great blessings. I now stay open to Divine guidance, which perfectly leads me to situations, people, and opportunities that are part of Your plan for my financial peace. I now see and feel myself and everyone else as completely financially secure, and my heart overflows with gratitude and joy at the abundant universe that You created. Thank You, and amen.

Driving:
** I ask God to put a white light of protection around this car and to clear all negativity, police officers of any form (unless in the rare event I request them), bad, rude, inconsiderate, non-alert and tailgating drivers from in and around my path. God bless this automobile. This is God's car. God's hand is at the wheel. God's law of order and right adjustment is manifest in all it's mechanisms. God's wisdom inspires in me, the driver, alertness, good judgement, and quick decision. God's patience gives me temperance and courtesy. I am contained. Thank you God and so it is.

* I am open & receptive to ALL my good, now.
This is the first affirmation I say everyday. I believe that it captures all the beauty of each day, sets the mode of the day and offers me the best of that day. Even things that are not what we call good, really are. It is from these that we have the opportunity to grow and expand who we are. From those 'not so good things' come our best lessons. When I say this affirmation I hold my arms straight out perpendicular to of my body, my palms upward (my body is then like a 'T' shape). I say this three times in each of the eight (8) directions of the wind. First I start with the East, as that is where the day begins. Always turning clockwise, I face the North (for those living in the Northern Hemisphere's the stronger polarity is North (I shall discuss those living in the Southern Hemisphere in the next paragraph). Then I turn, again clockwise, to the West; then the South. After I have finished those 4 major directions I turn to the Northeast, then Northwest, then Southwest, then Southeast. Sometimes I stand up doing this, but my inner child likes to sit in my swivel chair and spin around in the different directions saying the affirmations. In my office, where I have the swivel chair, I also have a ceiling fan. Hanging from the fan is a wind chime. As I turn, my inner child and I love to gently touch the wind chime to hear the beautiful sound as the affirmation is being said. So it is up to you to modify it to your preference. ; )
If you live in the Southern Hemisphere then the directions for you are: East, South, North ,then West for the major directions; then Southwest, Southeast, Northeast, and lastly Northwest. Make sure that you are always turning clockwise.
This is a prayer that is wonderful for opening up to your Divine Spirt and Guides. It is called "Awaken and be active with me".
Divine Spirit, bring me into union with you. Remove the obstacles that keep me from the experience of your presence. Let me clearly perceive your guidance. Walk with me into my mysteries; replace my fears with Faith. Give me the capacity to abide in mysteries put on my life's path. I give up the need to know why things happen as they do. I surrender my will to your Will. Let me feel your presence as much in change as in tranquility.
Show me the purposes for which I have been born. Align my energy to Divine purpose. I accept the task that emerges. Speed up my evolution. Show me things energetically, rather than have me live them. Take away my distractions, false voices, my illusions and misconceptions. Show me my shadow side, and what I'm here to learn. In becoming a balanced and conscious being, help me to develop honor, creativity, integrity, endurance, commitment, compassion, harmony and mercy.
I call my Spirit back into present time. I unplug my energy from the people, places and things into whom and into which I have invested it. I will no longer finance the past or past memories with my energy. Help me to remember that all the people in my life are here according to Divine Plan. They are helping me fulfill my sacred contract, as I am helping them with theirs.
I bless, forgive and release those whom I perceive as having harmed me. I ask forgiveness and release of those I have harmed in any way. Thank you for my life in just the package it comes in, just as it's unfolding. Thank you for the many teachers, guides, and inspiring people in my life. May there be Divine Harmony among all of us.
